I’m about to head off to the snowy land of Upstate NY for Christmas. But before I do that, I’ll leave you with one last post to tide you over into the new year. Being one of a family of six kids, Christmas has the potential of being quite daunting. Long ago my siblings and I decided to start a “secret santa” tradition; we’d pick names out of a hat and we’d only have to buy gifts for one person, instead of five. It makes things a lot easier (and less expensive.) My sister Liz is apparently my secret santa this year, which is great, because Liz gives good gifts.
A while ago my friend Sadie mentioned this book on her weblog. So I put it on my Amazon wishlist. Liz got it for me! Thanks Liz! She also got me the board game Cranium! That should be very useful on New Year’s Eve. I’m not the type of person who prefers to go out to bars or crazy nightclubs on New Year’s Eve. I prefer to get together with a few friends and hang out at someone’s house and drink and talk and maybe play some games. Should be good. Have a wonderful holiday everybody!
